Terms of Use

Last updated 18 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and EncodeEra SRL, a company registered in Romania (“we”), for Morris Clash and its online services. By playing, you accept them. If you got the game from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ about the licence of the app itself, Apple’s prevails.

How we handle your data is in the Privacy Policy.

1. Who may play

You must be at least 13, or older where your country sets a higher age for such services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and approve any purchase.

2. Your account

You start as a guest, whose progress lives with the account on that phone. Making it an account with Apple, Google or an e-mail address lets you keep it on another phone. Keep your sign-in to yourself: what is done with your account is your responsibility.

One person, one account. Do not sell, lend or share accounts, and do not make accounts to pass coins, items or rating from one to another.

3. Coins and items

Coins, and the stones, boards, avatars and frames in the shop, are a licence to use them inside the game. They are not money or property, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for money, sold, or moved to another account.

Only our server grants and spends coins. In an arena each player puts in the stake as the game begins: the winner takes both stakes, a draw gives each their stake back, and a loss, a resignation or leaving the game loses it. When no person is free, a computer player may take the seat and play at the arena’s level; what computer players pay one player beyond their stakes is limited each day.

We may change prices, rewards, stakes and the rest of the game’s economy to keep it balanced, and we may correct a balance changed by a fault in the game or by a breach of these terms.

4. Purchases

Coin packs and the “No ads” subscription are sold by the App Store and Google Play, under their terms and at the prices they show in your currency. A purchase is delivered once our server has confirmed it with Apple or Google; if it was charged but has not arrived, it arrives the next time the game opens. If it still does not, write to us.

Coins are digital content supplied at once. By buying, you ask for them to be supplied immediately, and in the EU you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once they are. Your legal rights if something you bought does not work stay intact. Refunds are made by Apple or Google, under their policies; we cannot make them ourselves.

“No ads” removes the ads between games for a month at a time; the videos you choose to watch for coins stay. It renews automatically each month until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings, at least a day before the next month begins. It belongs to the account that first used it.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, and does not refund purchases.

5. Ads

The game is free and paid for by ads: full-screen ads at the breaks between games, never during one, and videos you choose to watch for coins. The ads come from Google AdMob; we are not responsible for advertisers’ products or sites.

6. Fair play

Online games are refereed by our server: it checks every move against the rules, keeps the clock, and its record of a game is final. Do not:

  • use modified versions of the game, bots, scripts or any outside help that plays for you;
  • exploit faults in the game instead of reporting them to us;
  • lose on purpose, or arrange results, to pass coins or rating to another player;
  • make or use several accounts to collect rewards more than once.

A duel resigned, left or lost on time before its tenth turn moves no rating.

7. How to treat other players

Names and messages must not harass, threaten, insult, or carry hatred, sexual content, spam, or another person’s private information, and must not pretend to be someone else. The game hides offensive words, and any player can block or report another.

We may change a name, remove messages, stop a player from writing, and suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. We do not read every message, but we act on reports.

What you write stays yours. You let us store it and pass it on to the players you write to, which is what sending it means.

8. Updates and availability

The game changes over time, through store updates and updates of its own code. An old version may have to be updated before it can play online again. Every game is played through our server, which may stop for a while for maintenance or because of faults.

If we ever end the game’s online services, we will say so in the game at least 30 days before, unless something outside our control prevents it.

9. Ending

You may stop playing at any time and delete your account in Settings (how). We may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law or the safety of other players prevents it. Coins and items end with the account.

10. Ownership

The game, its name, art, sounds and code belong to us or to those who licensed them to us; the typefaces are under the SIL Open Font License and the sounds come from Kenney (CC0). Do not copy, change or take apart the game, except as far as the law allows you to.

11. Liability

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the legal guarantee that the game conforms to what it should be, and nothing in these terms takes away rights the law gives you. Nothing here limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, such as for death or injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Within those limits, we are not responsible for loss we could not reasonably foresee, for interruptions of online play, or for coins or items lost through a breach of these terms.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts. Please write to us first at support@encodeera.co: most problems are settled faster that way.

13. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the new version is published here with its date. If a change matters to you, we will also say so in the game before it applies. If you do not accept it, you may stop playing and delete your account.
